- Collaboration on risk-based AI governance for frontier and generative AI models.
- Special focus on child safety online, including privacy-preserving age verification and safety-by-design AI systems.
- Promotion of privacy-preserving data-sharing frameworks.
- India's Data Empowerment and Protection Architecture (DEPA) identified as a key model for consent-based data sharing.
- France aims to host 30,000 Indian students by 2030.
- Expansion of the Mutual Recognition of Qualifications (MRQ) framework signed in 2018.
- MRQ to cover more academic disciplines, regulated professions and emerging technology sectors.
- Encouragement of dual-degree programmes, researcher exchanges and doctoral co-supervision.
- CEFIPRA (Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research) to remain the flagship institution for bilateral scientific cooperation.
